FORT DODGE, Iowa- The only sport at Pratt Community College afforded the opportunity to compete during the fall, the cross country team officially concluded its 2020 schedule following the end of the NJCAA Half-Marathon Championships on Tuesday. There, Zach McPhee and Uwimana Rukundo put a stamp on their seasonal efforts. 

McPhee, who placed 12th during Saturday's Cross Country Championships, finished the 13.1-mile race with a time of 1:11:16, placing him ninth overall among the 70 runners. Rukundo crossed the the finish line with a time of 1:19:18, good for 33rd place. 

Following the conclusion of the championship weekend in Fort Dodge, McPhee received national recognition, as the standout freshman was named a USTFCCCA NJCAA Division I All-American.
