FORT DODGE, Iowa- The Beavers are inching closer to wrapping up the 2020 season, however, there's still business to attend to. Competing at the NJCAA Cross Country Championships, the Beavers tossed only a pair of runners into the fray, Zach McPhee and Uwimana Rukundo. 

McPhee, a consistent top-finisher during the regular season, posted a time of 26:00.49 over the course of the eight-kilometer race, good for a 12th-place finish in a field of 150 racers. Rukundo, with a time of 28:00.19, finished 57th overall. 

The Beavers will remain in Fort Dodge for the remainder of the weekend, competing again at the NJCAA Half-Marathon Championships on Tuesday. The start of the race is scheduled for 10:00 am CST.
