Women's Basketball sits at a 6-7 overall record going into the second semester picking up 5 of those wins in their first 6 games jumping out to an early 5-1 record. Early season conference play has given the Beavers some trouble with a 2-6 record.

The Beavers opened the season up at home in the Baymont Beaver Classic getting two great wins against Western Oklahoma State College and Lamar Community College. The Beavers then went on the road and picked up a dominant win over Connors State College. November 7th saw the Beavers take their first loss on the road against Redlands Community College. The Beavers bounced back with two straight wins over Bethany College JV & their conference opener against Fort Hays Tech Northwest. The next two games were not as kind to the Beavers losing back to back conference games against Garden City Community College and Butler Community College. The Beavers bounced back the next game against Independence Community College. Unfortunately the month of December saw the Beavers lose four straight conference matchups. The Beavers fell to Seward, Barton, Cowley and Dodge City which puts them currently at 10th in the KJCCC standings.

The Standout Players so far this season for the Beavers have been Polla Ballint and Kalani Brock. Polla Ballint has been holding down the paint for the Beavers this season averging 16.4 points per game and 4.3 rebounds per game. Kalani Brock has been an all around superstar averaging a near double-double with 15.3 points per game and 9.6 rebounds per game. Kalani has also been a defensive monster this season with 3.6 steals per game.

The Beavers, as a team, have been efficent from the field shooting 41.7%. However, the Beavers have struggled from deep shooting 26.7%. The Beavers have also struggled with turnovers this season averaging 19.3 a game. The Beavers plan to hit the new year in stride and look to combat these issues whilst improving on their strengths.

The Beavers begin the 2026 portion of their season this Saturday, January 3rd at Cloud County Communtity College in Concordia, KS at 2pm
