The Pratt Community College track and field team is preparing to host the NJCAA Region VI/KJCCC Outdoor Track and Field Championships from May 2-4 at the Bill Keller Family Sports Complex. The events get underway on Thursday, May 2 at 1:30 p.m. while start times begin on Friday, May 3 at 9:00 a.m. Championship Saturday will get underway at 10:00 a.m.
Last Time Out
The Pratt Community College track and field team was back in action on Wednesday, Apr. 24 at the Alex Francis Classic taking place on the campus of Fort Hays State University. The team brought home five first-place finishes, 11 top-five finishes, and eight top-ten finishes.
Sophomore Joseph Michel was back to his winning ways winning the 200m dash with a time of 20.93. The women's 4x100m relay team consisting of Serenity Jackson, Tashia Bell, Naomi Vagher, and Mikayla Henry finished first with a time of 47.07. That time will qualify them for the NJCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in May.
